depth of field- low depth

How did changing the aperture and shutter effect the depth of field?  Do you find capturing one depth easier?

the aperture
affects the sharpness of the picture, by changing the aperture the depth in a photo from foreground to background that will be sharp, and smaller apertures increase depth of field while larger ones decrease it.

capturing low depths were easier than high depths while taking my pictures.

 1. Which picture is the best shot of this assignment? Why
the best picture for this assignment was my dead flower, because it has a lot of detail and i put more effort into it.
2. Which picture is the weakest shot of this assignment?  Why?
the weakest picture i took for this assignment was my high depth photo of the branch with the tree in the background, because its really dark and doesn't have a lot of color.
3. How can the weakest image be improved on in future shoots?
it can be improved with a little more effort and time. it can also be improved by capturing the photo with a better angle.
4. Did you use Photoshop, Lightroom, or both?  What tools in the programs did you use to edit the pictures?
i used Photoshop to edit my pictures, adjusting the levels by increasing the darkness to super bright areas as well as increasing the lightness to super dark areas.
5. Explain how were you able to meet the objectives (GOALS) of the assignment? **THE GOAL CHANGES EACH LESSON. **SEE THE EQ ON THE ASSIGNMENT AND ANSWER THAT FOR THIS QUESTION.
i met the objectives by following the requirements for the assignments.
6. What was easy about this assignment? Why?
the easiest part was taking low depth pictures, because on a cellphone, cameras automatically adjust to low depth when objects are closer than normal. there is also a "portrait mode" for the camera to create a low depth affect.
7. What was difficult about this assignment? Why?
taking high depth pictures was the most difficult part of this assignment, because it was hard to keep the camera focused on high depth.
8. If you could do this assignment again, what would you do differently?
i probably wouldn't do it again.
9. On a scale of 1-10 (10 being your best effort) how would you rate your effort in this project? Why would you give yourself that rating?
probably and 8 because after i took low depth pictures, i wanted to stop.
